MEET THE CREATOR
Douce Haus was created in February 2018 in Brooklyn, NY by healthcare professional, Frantzie Jean servicing the greater NYC community. Her passion for helping others was inspired by her late mother, who passed away in 2018 after battling Ovarian Cancer for two years.

She noticed there was a high need for self-care not only amongst the ill, but many others who face daily adversities including herself. Taking care of a sick parent and providing health services to the ill was not an easy task mentally and emotionally. She wanted to create a safe space in her home not only for herself, but for her mother who was losing her sense of smell due to aggressive treatment at the time.

Due to these stressors, her goal was to remind others that self-care is necessary to refocus, regroup and realign. With this in mind and her love for home decor, Douce Haus was created.
At Douce Haus, we want to continue the momentum and the ideology of self-care by reminding our customers that self-care is a form of expression which promotes positive mental health practices. Remember, self-care isn't only on Sundays.
